YOUR WELLBEING COMES FIRST

Safety & getting help

Stop when you feel unwell

Stop exercising if you feel dizzy, faint, unusually short of breath, or unwell. Get help rather than continuing the activity.

Suspected heart attack or stroke?

Call emergency services immediately. In the United States, call 911. Do not finish your workout or save an entry first.

Chest discomfort, severe breathing difficulty, fainting, or possible stroke symptoms need urgent attention. Stroke warning signs include sudden balance or vision changes, face drooping, arm weakness, or speech difficulty. Call even if stroke symptoms go away.

This website cannot monitor you, detect an emergency, or call for help.

Your exercise plan is personal

100 and 116 bpm are recording thresholds, not instructions or prescriptions. Both personal targets start unreviewed. Review your exercise plan and intensity with your clinician or a physical therapist who understands Parkinson’s.

Use prescribed support and assistance. Follow your clinician’s guidance on medication timing; this site does not change medication or offer dosing advice.
